Continuing PhD Scholarships
The continuation of the scholarship is subject to the evaluation of the documents listed below.
Required Documents
Original Student Certificate
Original Transcript (if the previous academic year was the coursework period)
Qualifying Examination Result Document
If the qualifying examination has been taken, the examination result document must be submitted.
If the examination has not yet been taken, an information note stating the examination schedule and confirming that the result document will be submitted to the Association after the examination must be provided.
Reference Letter
If the previous year corresponds to the first or second year of the thesis period, a reference letter must be obtained from the academic advisor.
Thesis Progress Report (for students in the second year of the PhD thesis stage)
Salary Payslip (for employed scholarship holders)
Update of Contact Information
Student’s email address; mobile, home, and work telephone numbers; residential address; and the name and contact number of a next of kin.
Document Submission
Documents may be submitted in person or sent via PTT APS or courier service.
Evaluation of Documents
Only original and officially certified documents will be considered. Documents submitted via fax, email, photocopy, color photocopy, or uncertified internet printouts will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Scholarships will not be continued for scholarship holders who:
Have more than one failed course or have repeated a class during the coursework period,
Fail to submit a reference letter from their academic advisor for the first or second year of the thesis period,
Have completed four years from the date of PhD enrollment.
